This weekend marks the beginning of NASCAR's new qualifying procedure that mixes the top 35 teams and the go or go home teams for the Sprint Cup Series. As usual, the slower cars go first, while the faster cars go at the end. However, the speeds for the order are only determined by the first practice, instead of all of them combined.
