This weekend marks Travis Pastrana's first NASCAR event - The Toyota All Star Showdown in Irwindale California.
In the first practice of the weekend, Pastrana was 17th fastest of 41 cars that hit the track. His time was 18.899 seconds with a speed of 95.087 mph.
In the second practice, Pastrana jumped up to 7th fastest in his Boost Mobile Toyota. His time was 18.710 seconds and with a speed of 96.205 mph.
In qualifying, Pastrana qualified 20th with a time of 18.662 seconds and a speed of 96.453 mph.
Coverage of the race will be Saturday (tonight) at 10 P.M. ET on SPEED TV, after the coverage breaks away from the Rolex 24 hour race.
