David Ragan, the last driver of the top 35 drivers to qualify, took the pole position for Saturday night's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. Ragan had a speed of 189.820 mph and 28.448 seconds. Carl Edwards qualified second, two tenths behind his pole sitting teammate. There was only one driver to fail to qualify - Travis Kvapil.
