After a weekend of a Nationwide Series regular winning in NASCAR's number two series, Sprint Cup Series driver Matt Kenseth raced by his teammate Carl Edwards in the last five laps to win the race. Kyle Busch had a strong run and led some laps during the day, but was not dominant by any means. Busch finished third. There were 5cautions for 25 laps and 17 lead changes among 8 leaders. The attendance was reported to be 45,000 people.
