Subway Fresh Fit 500 TV Ratings Up UPDATE

The streak continues for NASCAR as ratings continue to increase. According to an SBNation article, FOX's ratings were up 6%.

Here is part of the article:

"From FOX Sports VP of communications Dan Bell on Twitter:

'NASCAR on FOX dominates all other sports competition on broadcast or cable tv this weekend with a 5.3 overnight rating, +6% from last year.'"

NASCAR continues to put out great racing and great stories so far regarding the winners of the 2011 season. Yes, the season is only two races in, but it is a major increase from last season. Perhaps the rating increase is because of the extra publicity for NASCAR regarding Trevor Bayne's exciting upset. Only time will tell.
