As the push for more online coverage of NASCAR grows, TNT yet again rolls out NASCAR.com's RaceBuddy application. This year, RaceBuddy has 10 camera angles, in car audio, a drag and drop interactive camera, and a live chat room for TNT's NASCAR races.
The fans responded well with a record setting number of streams for RaceBuddy, 1.1 million streams, up 187% from last year, according to an email received by Trackside With Travis from Turner Sports' Tom Caraccioli.
Other RaceBuddy stats from Pocono include:
*RaceBuddy Player Page Views +24%, (238,000 vs. 192,000 in 2010)
*Total RaceBuddy Visits +52%, (152,000 vs. 100,000 in 2010)
*RaceBuddy Unique Users +45%, (120,000 vs. 82,000 in 2010)
*7.2 million total minutes streamed
