NASCAR CEO Brian France Issues Statement Concerning Kentucky

NASCAR has now released a statement about the major issues with traffic that made thousands of fans miss the inaugural Sprint Cup Series race at Kentucky Speedway.

The following is a statement from NASCAR CEO, Brian France, about the problem that occurred on Saturday night:

“While NASCAR was thrilled by the incredible response to our inaugural NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race in Kentucky, we also are extremely disappointed by the traffic problems and inconveniences endured by fans who wanted to be part of our races at Kentucky Speedway. NASCAR will be in close communications with Kentucky Speedway and Speedway Motorsports Inc. to see that they work to resolve the issues. This situation cannot happen again.”

At this time, Kentucky Speedway has not issued any official apologies to the fans, but has said in multiple statements they will work to solve this issue for the future.
