Ryan Newman Wins At New Hampshire

Stewart Haas Racing was able to sweep the front row for both qualifying and the race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, as Ryan Newman took the checkers while teammate and boss Tony Stewart finished second.

Joe Gibbs Racing finished third and fourth, with Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano respectively. Jimmie Johnson finished 5th.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished in the teens, making it another bad race for the 88 team, and also tightening the Chase battle for the drivers behind him in points. Earnhardt is now 9th in points following New Hampshire.

Unofficially, there were 21 lead changes among 14 drivers plus 10 cautions for 44 yellow flag laps. The attendance was 95,000 people, up from last year.

Kyle Busch Wins The First Ever Kentucky Sprint Cup Race

Kyle Busch took home the checkered flag on Saturday night for the inaugural Quaker State 400, making himself a two time winner during the NASCAR Kentucky weekend, after he scored the win for the Camping World Truck Series race on Thursday.

Busch dominated much of the race, while Brad Keselowski was also a strong factor, leading many laps. However, it was Jimmie Johnson and David Reutimann who Busch had to hold off in the final restart of the race, with only a few laps remaining. Reutimann was able to get by Johnson off of turn four on the final lap to take second place.

Kyle Busch also has taken the lead in the points standings. This is the third different points leader in three weeks. Kevin Harvick took the lead from Carl Edwards last weekend.

There were 20 lead changes among 12 drivers as well as 6 cautions for 32 yellow flag laps unofficially. The attendance was expected to be around 110,000 people as it was also sold out, but tough traffic situations may have left some fans missing the race.

David Ragan Gets Redemption At Daytona

David Ragan was able to get redemption following the penalty received in the Daytona 500 earlier this year by winning the Coke Zero 400. Ragan, who is in his final contract year with sponsor UPS, took the checkered flag after getting a push from teammate Matt Kenseth on the 2nd attempt at a green white checkered. On the last lap, there were two major crashes, and during the first green white checkered, there was the largest crash of the night, which all contained major players in the race.

Unofficially, here were 57 lead changes among 25 drivers plus 6 cautions for 21 yellow flag laps. The attendance was listed to be 115,000, which is the same as last year's Daytona July race.

2011 Toyota/Save Mart 350 Unofficial Results

It was Kurt Busch who would master the art of turning both left and right at Infineon Raceway to take the checkered flag - his first Sprint Cup win of the 2011 season. Jeff Gordon finished second, while Carl Edwards was the surprise third place finisher.

It was a crazy day filled with contact, payback, and some unhappy faces in the garage area. Incidents between Joey Logano and Robby Gordon, along with Tony Stewart and Brian Vickers, were just a few of the story lines. Unofficial Michigan Sprint Cup Results

Denny Hamlin was able to hold off the win from a hard charging Matt Kenseth at Michigan International Raceway and take his first checkered flag of the season. He was not a dominate force however - he captured the lead through pit road late in the race. His team is able to rebound after much controversy following the team's oil pan being unapproved by NASCAR earlier in the weekend.

There were 21 lead changes among 12 drivers and 5 cautions for 18 yellow flag laps. The attendance was listed to be 88,000 people.

Unofficial Results of 5 Hour Energy 500

Denny Hamlin had the car to beat during the 500 mile race at Pocono, but simply did not have the luck to back it up. Hamlin had a flat tire causing a loss of track position and the loss of brakes later on. It turned out that Jeff Gordon would be the winner of the Pocono race. Gordon scored his second win of the year, increasing his chances of making the Chase, whether it be by making the top ten or qualifying in the wild card spot.

It was almost a victory yet again for Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jr Nation in a fuel mileage race, but Earnhardt was unable to catch the eventual race winner of Brad Keselowski. This is Brad Keselowski's 2nd career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win. Interestingly, both wins included Dale Jr. finishing 2nd. Once again, tire strategy came down to deciding the winner of the race. Regan Smith benefited from a good pit call last weekend at Darlington, but this weekend Matt Kenseth was the one who was able to take home the trophy. Results From Martinsville: Harvick Gets By Earnhardt Late In Race

Kevin Harvick has won his second consecutive race of the 2011 season. After passing Dale Earnhardt Jr. with a few laps to go, Harvick was able to take the checkered flag, followed by Earnhardt Jr., who held off Kyle Busch by a nose. There were a record 31 lead changes among 12 drivers and attendance was up to 60,000 from 68,000.

Sprint Cup Results From Fontana

After close racing in the final laps of the Auto Club 500, Kevin Harvick slipped by Jimmie Johnson in the final corner of the event, taking the victory. Kyle Busch led the way with just a few laps remaining until Jimmie Johnson got by him, then Kevin Harvick.

There were 18 lead changes among 10 drivers and 4 cautions for 16 yellow flag laps. Attendance was up to 88,000 from the event last year. Note that they speedway only has one Sprint Cup event per season compared to two events last year.

Kyle Busch Wins At Bristol

Kyle Busch has won yet again at Bristol - winning 5 races in a row in the Camping World Truck, Nationwide, and Sprint Cup Series combined.

After a race that was led by multiple different drivers who had come and gone, Kyle Busch was able to hold of Carl Edwards and Jimmie Johnson in the closing laps.

There were 19 lead changes with 8 drivers and 10 cautions for 57 yellow flag laps.

Jeff Gordon broke a 66 race winless streak at Phoenix after nudging Kyle Busch out of the way with a few laps remaining. There were two major wrecks in the beginning of the race, along with multiple caution flags, but as the race progressed, more green flag racing was seen.
